Eco-Baby Workshop Saturday, December 13 from 2:30-3:30pm Environmental dangers are increasingly being linked to chronic illness in humans, including babies and children. A study conducted by the Environmental Working Group on the umbilical cords of babies born in 2004 found a total of 287 different industrial chemicals circulating through the newborn babies’ bodies. By adopting eco-practices, you reduce your and your child’s exposure to harmful environmental hazards that have the potential to lead to serious illness and other developmental problems, in addition to ensuring that fewer harmful toxins get back into the environment. This workshop will educate you on eco-practices that easily integrate into you and your child’s daily routine as well as provide resources and product options to be a more eco-conscious consumer.
