Talking About Green

Join me next Tuesday, March 24 as I provide an eco-education on simple, practical green living!

As people who envision a sustainable future, PRIZIM, Inc is committed to providing practical knowledge to individuals and organizations so they can share and contribute to that vision. To do this, they are offering opportunities to learn from their experience and to share ideas on wise choices that are good for the Earth and your budget. Sustainable choices you can feel good about that don’t require hardship or discomfort. 

Monthly, Tuesday workshops are scheduled for 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on March 24, April 21 and May 19

Location:  317 East Diamond avenue, Olde Towne Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Seating limited to 24.

For workshops that are focused on individual green practices (March and May), some topics covered may include:

• Gastronomically Green: Relying on nontoxic, natural, and healthy food and products for all your culinary needs
  
• Don’t be Neutral About Carbon: Strategies for reducing carbon emissions and embracing changed climate lifestyles
  
• Watts Up?: Renew your energy management program at home
  
• Go with the Flow: Integrate water- and energy- conserving devices into your interior design
  
• Breathe Easy: Improve indoor air quality by reducing exposure to harmful toxins
  
• Little Green Being: Healthful strategies for protecting our vulnerable young ones from toxins; Eco-parenting techniques for teaching respect for the environment and; Swaddling your young ones with eco-trendy kitsch
  

And, for workshops that are focused on organizational green practices (April and June), some topics covered may be:

• Ecological Footprint: Assessing your organization’s environmental impact
  
• Leading the Green Revolution… with a Plan: Developing strategies that address your biggest environmental impacts
  
• Boost Your Eco-Advantage: Being green and saving green for your organization
  
• Watts Up?: Renew your energy management program at the workplace
  
• Go with the Flow: Integrate water- and energy- conserving devices into your building design
  
• The Green-Gold Standard: Being recognized for successes and efforts and being transparent about your benchmarks
