Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioners

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning is commonly known with the term HVAC. Other acronyms not so frequently used to depict air conditioning and heating uses is HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) and HACR (heating, air conditioning and refrigeration). These systems include small refrigerators, air conditioners, heaters, very large systems which maintain temperature and comfort factors in large commercial buildings.
The main rationale of a Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system are to maintain good indoor air quality through enough ventilation and provide thermal comfort. HVAC systems consume almost largest energy in official buildings. Though a usual HVAC system has many controls, the control of outdoor air quantity that enters the building can have a significant impact on Indoor Air Quality.
As the people realized that they can save lot of amount in heating and cooling their homes, they had started the proper sizing of HVAC equipment. There is no special apparatus and construction requirement for the proper sizing of HVAC units. Only we need to be considerate towards the air tightness of building.
In addition to considerable energy losses, air leakage from the HVAC ducts and air handling units can also cause large Indoor Air Quality problems due to unforeseen airflow between indoors and outdoors.
You can save money and can develop your house into energy-efficient and comfy home by properly sizing the equipment as these work for a longer period with higher efficiency whereas extra-large equipment runs for shorter periods with lower efficiency,
Energy recovery ventilation systems are continually improving to conserve the energy for green buildings and improving interior air quality. Energy conservation is a main point in this area, and any system that offer extraordinary energy efficiency with ventilating buildings for good health and comfort is in demand.
Usually the selection of the HVAC equipment for the building is left to the contractors, who work within a budget and purchase the equipment on price basis rather than efficiency for long-term and proper cost benefit analysis. So it is the time to teach building contractors about energy savings and quality of indoor air.
